State University of Gorontalo (UNG)
State University of Gorontalo (UNG) is a
state university in Gorontalo, Indonesia, that was established on 1 September 1963. At first the university was a junior college and part of Guidance and Counseling UNSULUTENG (Sulawesi Tengah). In 1964 its status changed to Guidance and Counseling Branch IKIP Yogyakarta at Manado. In 1965 it joined the Teachers Training College branch in Manado Gorontalo.
In 1982 the institution became one of the faculties of the Sam Ratulangi University Manado with the name of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (Guidance and Counseling) UNSRAT Manado, Gorontalo. The institute was officially established in 1993 under the name College of Teacher Training and Education (STKIP) Gorontalo.
In 2001 the institution was upgraded to State Teachers Training College Gorontalo with five faculties and 25 study programs. On June 23, 2004, President Megawati inaugurated the State University of Gorontalo.
SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo
State High School (SMAN) 3 Gorontalo, is one of the State Senior High Schools in Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. Same with high school in Indonesia in general, the school education period at SMAN 3 Gorontalo is taken within three years, starting from Class X to Class XII. Founded in 1985
In 2007, the school used the previous Education Unit Level Curriculum with the KBK. Now this school has explored even higher levels, namely towards international standard schools
In 2011, SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo or better known as Smantig has become the First Boarding School in Gorontalo, even in Indonesia. This is because SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo is the first State Boarding School.
The first Force Boarding (12 October 2012) numbered 197 people. They are chosen students because when they enter they pass various kinds of Tests. Starting from the Psychotest to the Academic Test.
Currently the dormitory building at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo has 2 buildings, namely male dormitory and female dormitory. Gorontalo SMA Negeri 3 is indeed a flagship school in Gorontalo Province, but Many are still lacking in the school, for example School Toilet Facilities are still not good. Besides that the Hotspot facility which is only intended for Teachers is very difficult for students. Because many tasks must be searched on the internet, but students cannot access the Internet. This school also strongly supports extracurricular scouting, paskibraka, and other extracurricular activities.
